November – Peace LAB ReLoaded

‘Peace, why do you only look sexy when War is around?’
‘Peace, how do we get in touch?’
‘Peace, are you religious?’
After the success of the Peace LAB weekend we’re taking this Peace thing further!

MUJU worked with artist, performers, writers to devise a short performance inspired by the creative process and potent questions that emerged from the Peace LAB. This was performed at JW3 as part of Interfaith Week.

August – MUJU 48 hour Peace Lab

In this time of heightened tension in the Middle East, MUJU provided an arena for creative dialogue by hosting a two-day theatre lab in which Muslim and Jewish performers (both professionals and those with a passion for theatre/ arts) come together to explore/ question the theme of Peace, in all it’s possible meanings, through theatre.

The entire creative process was filmed and made into a short documentary. This was screened at various events in the lead up to the International Day of Peace on September 21st.

MAY – UpStarts 2014

MUJU launched a new theatre group ‘UpStarts 2014′. Coming together for weekly theatre sessions the group creatively explores themes of interest through play, improvisation, and devising theatre. The sessions aim to be an open and creative space – away from the rush and structure of daily life – where your voice, ideas, interest and stories are welcomed as creative ingredients. MUJU sessions are a platform for creativity, dialogue and discovery. And not to forget, a healthy dose of fun and laughter!
